  3. some great tracks there.
  4. last chance for this brilliant stomper............. and great deep soul flip.
  5. not come across this flip will give it a listen now. That was some record for 12 quid. I guess at the time nobody had a clue what waa going to happen price wise ?
  6. file alongside eddie parker. shame they aren't all that good.
  7. what a brilliant record this is.
  8. bump.............. proper northern for those that like uptempo 60s that you can dance to.
  9. I think we agree on a lot of things. I am probably more of a soul fan than a northern fan in the grand scheme of things but do love good northern and having a dance to it.
  10. exactly my point. oh and thanks for the DVD enjoyed watching that with a bottle of wine on friday.
  11. the silver blue releases are all great
  12. I can't believe how badly you have misunderstood what I said.
  13. i'm not entirely sure how this addresses the point I made ? most fo what you say agrees with the point I made just goes on to explain it a bit. And across the board doesn't work I never said it did. but you could pick modern one weekend, R&B the next if you wanted to. one thign I would disagree on is that I think a very good set could be done by a DJ on a budget. Why does a limited budget restrict good taste ?
  14. with the vast wealth of amazing music to choose from it should be possible to go out each weekend and hear interesting and refreshing sets. sadly thats not quite the case.
  15. carlena weaver flip "heartbreak" is fantastic.
  16. yes but tomorrow night is a bank holiday sunday. although you advertised 6 moths ago you can realy expect other people not to pick this night ?
  17. Ted Ford "Hold on to the key / you don't love me" Gaye Ex superb fierce uptempo northern with a brilliant deep soul flip side. collectable label also has ernie wheelwright and shepperd bros releases 150GBP including delivery. by PM please if interested regards, dylan
  18. so are all these venues very busy then ? or just a few at each ?
  19. in spite of all these nights the chocie of music on offer is very limited and mostly very obvious stuff..............
  20. I've got a few rough records in the collection. If they are cheap enough copies of rare records then they are worth having IMO. but there is a limit to just how rough they can.
  21. yes I am, my mistake.....
  22. weren't M- copies of this selling almost every week not too long ago ?
  23. I stuck a few up on ebay finishing sunday but all have fair bin prices https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/pushbuttonworld/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=50&_trksid=p3692
