  1. Just a quickie... anyone on here from the Huddersfield area going to the Tower just for the Saturday night or, put another way, would anyone like to? Thanks Steve

I'm glad you put that about the boot being darker. I have a definite original somewhere and it is without doubt a lighter yellow label. It's a minter too Steve

  8. Went rooting the other day and came across these. To be honest I'd forgotten about some of them. Do yo remember these?
  9. I know you've been selling some of late and thanks for the reply. I've just found a load of mine that I've not seen for years. I know where all my Wigan ones and A few EASC anniversary patches are but didn't know I still had these ones Steve
  10. I'd like to see some 18 year old try :D
  11. I know that badges have been going for what I would consider to be fairly large sums of money. I've been asked by someone if they could buy one of mine but I'm clueless as to what to ask pricewise. Unfortunately can't upload the photo but.... Managed to upload it now... it's the yellow 2nd Anniversary East Anglian Soul Club badge with the crossed black fists in the centre. Any ideas appreciated Thanks Steve

C'mon Jaco, there's so much going on with the literary side of the Northern Soul world..... you could write a book about it Steve
  14. Ian, Snot, balls. . . You are a disgrace to our scene. No wonder you moved south Steve
  15. Oi.... Spike, where are you when we need you (BTW spike is now his new name in reference to his severed balls story ) Steve
  16. Actually, on reflection, Ian probably doesn't have it anymore. It was 1993 when I moved to Yorkshire. Ian bought my stuff about a year before... quite a few thousand records if I remember correctly. So I'm guessing the 12 came out in 90 / 91 as thats when I was winding down my club DJ'ing around Lincolnshire. Steve
  17. I had a white label of this which seemingly originated from Italy, it was sent out as a promo at the time when that kind of stuff was "in". Actually didn't do anything with it: ie play it out etc etc. When I sold my "disco" stuff, most of which went to Ian Clark, I'm sure that went with it. A trip to North Walsham may prove fruitful if he didn't let it go. Steve H
  18. You play golf and you think you have a say on blue eyed soul..... surely not

I guess potentially you argue the toss that it's rarer than the two US copies.... so, on that basis some lunatic will probably pay £50,000............not! Seriously, would anyone have a clue what it would fetch... even John M wouldn't know. This is all based on the seller (owner rather than John M) either having a reserve of what they think is a realistic price or simply chucking it into the market place to see what it goes for. Personally I don't think acetates count in the value of records as they are a sub-genre, unique maybe, but not a record as such. But thats only my opinion of course and it counts for nowt in many cases Best Steve
  20. I have one up for grabs but I'm confused.... I'm sure mine is on vinyl. Will check and get back to you. Steve

Now I'm not in the health care service or indeed local Government but, as I understand it............. nobody would adopt a Mancunian Steve
  23. You're putting more than your knackers on the line.... more like sack and all... and you go under the banner of 6T's....21st Century.... how very dare you. Joking of course, I'm all for the new stuff as much as the old. You knock em dead Mr Croasdell just make sure its a 45 and not a 33 rpm 12"... just to confuse things bearing in mind your age Steve H
