  1. Nice signiture from the Great Sidney Barnes is my contribution.thanks to my great mate Martyn price for arranging it.
  2. So is the Chris King one deffo not legit,if not its a bloody expensive boot seen for a tonne. Also the Kent release of LTIO has only recently come out so for years this top dancer has only been heard out due to the Torch copy. Also talking about Kent the recent release of the Jesse Davis Lets talk it over has the brill pev unissued instrumental on it.Perfectly ok to play out but how would a dj who owned the original ERA copy feel if someone before him played the inst and stole his thunder. So many things to take into consideration who would dare to be a DJ.
  3. Both regularly played for years at many venues all over and as i say the M G commands a very good price some records are just accepted as playable.
  4. Whats the opinions on these two previously unissued tracks.Playable or Not and if not then why does the Marvin Gaye fetch so much money thesedays
  5. Thanks for that Mick clears mine up for sure

  9. Thanks Mike but when did this recent discovery on the re-issues take place, and you see my confusion when Dave recons mine is a good un.Hear this getting played out a lot and not on the rare Demos so most DJs are spinning the re-issues then. Also if you now know the tinted ones are re-issues what about the white ones why are both re -issues with two different label colours and same dead wax markings.Sorry again its a minefield i know beginning to say sod it like everyone else and just play any of the copies.
  10. Sorry to inflict everyone with another thread about this. After reading through the previous threads was it ever definitely stated that the whitish labels with blue text were later re-issues.Over the years think i have seen equally as many blueish tinged ones as clear whites. The Whites are always cheaper Why?.Like i said its all been covered before but i'm still confused as to the evidence that says they are not done at the same time ie whites later. Here is a scan of my White issue by the way.
  11. Not seen one myself Dave but its listed in JMs guide RCA 9212(orange label) and priced up as £100

  15. I've got the EXCITERS 2nd issue 1038 also and looking at popsike this release is sold much more often than the first orange release so suspect a lot of DJs spin the 2nd issue. The orange WILLIE KENDRICKS--Change Your Ways is rare and can fetch good money
