Ian, well were waiting for the philly 40th set to arrive, fingers crossed still....all payed for a while back now, so we should be ok ......question now is , if any friends want a set how can they buy one ?.....as the link still shows sold out , and no way to pay ?.....unless they have to email, or phone direct ?......what you think mate....cheers.........Waiting for your next deal you post up.....Keep them coming.....love them all...

Gerry H , I also have this sony ( bush) deck......its good for playing my old 45s on ...I just put the lead into my hi fi amp aux, works great, never jumps....got mine from richer sounds about 10 years ago....was a good price then too.....not portable, but good if you have a hifi aux.......or a mini, micro hifi with no deck....

Arrived today sunday....not played yet, but looks very good....thanks for the price drop update ian.......

Ian...I assume these are going to be pressed and checked better than the recent motown box sets ?.... As it put me off getting them.....and the northern soul film set are quality..cheers mart

Pete , well did you get them changed then , and something for your troubles ?.....Are you near a Richer Sounds, or Superfi , by any chance.....always best to try before you buy if poss.......iv got loads of head phones.....use them from main hi fi, and also all my mp3 players....even in ear ones while out scooting, from my mp3 player....Also got blue tooth also.....and senn wireless........All got pro,s and con,s to be honest.......so getting a good price is top for me.....always nice to get a deal......Hope you get sorted.

Thanks for info, well received my 5 triple CD box sets today, not a bad price really, all on , not now music, got all the A sides on there vinyl double LPs also....lol....may as well get them while I can...The other CDs out there on sunrise are the same tracks ???...so looking for blue beat from 1963 onwards now ?...such a great collection.

Pete s , Correct mate..its the first 125 or so 45s.....But these are well worth having....ill hunt a bit deeper for any more at a later date...some great music on these... Who owns the right to the records after 1963 ? Wonder if they will ever get released ?....

Some info here, im new to all this Blue Beat , Ska, music...Being a northern soul, jazz, man.....But just in case you are not aware, You can pick up All of the Blue Beat A & B sides on triple cd box sets at a great price on Not Now Music....they also have the vinyl out , but with only the A sides on them.....All top quality, and no doubt one day become deleted and rare.....Note for some reason the Blue Beat tracks are also out on cd by another label, Sunrise ?.....can,t see the point to be honest....as you can,t really collect both labels, as the tracks will no doubt be the same in places.....So anyone who wants vinyl 180gr double lps, you can,t go far wrong with the Not Now series...... And no I don,t work for the company.....But I have just ordered the whole lot......get them while you can.....

Amazon are re selling this now...£61.99........all this talk as put me off now.

Agree with above list, got about 2000 all soul or jazz funk, Latin, 60s soul, modern....etc

After reading these posts its put me right off now.....Good luck to those who get good copies, ..By the way, are these records out on a motown box set of cds ???...Just a thought..cheers martyn..........well just been checking my collection, looks like got most of them on my cds compilations...apart from my free marvin gaye , bretby 45.....so that will do for me for now, ..Hopefully it may get a repress better quality.....heres hoping..........
