i was never a big fan of v,baines tune the sound quality always seemed very distorted or was it the speakers??,but a big tune in the day i think it was covered up as christine cooper not sure though,i preffered the c,washington tune,my old mate and huntingdons finest kev draper got his copy in the usa on one of his record buying trips years ago,much to sir dickies annoyance when he played it at a all-nighter in the land of the posh one night,have not asked him if he still has his copy but if not who purchased it from him and what was the year he sold it and for how much £££.

the rare soul scene surely goes back a tad further than the tunes you mentioned i think it all started with the mod and proper early r&b scenes in the early/mid 60s then just evolved into "northern soul scene" as time went on.

£125-150 ish for an rca usa white demo i think??,usa black rca issues are tough to get saw one on a list recently for about £500 i thought it was a bit pricey though,not sure if it got a legal rca reissue in the uk or if it was ever booted if it was would be about £4-5.
