Well had met the promoters liz and Peter Wadeson-Neal when djing in edinburgh and had heard how good this event was meant to be. So had to go and see what the hype was all about ?? Arrived early and said to huck and roddy lets do it boys. Walked in to be greeted by pete and welcomed us like we were family. Told us where everything was toilets ,bar and even shower rooms . Quick change and into the hall and liz is right out from behind the decks to welcome us.music is already belting out and we are on the floor dancing. The djs were relentless with the tunes they were playing to keep the floor busy. Just when one dj finished and you thought he was s##t hot the next one came on and took over from the previous and this was to continue all night. At one stage i thought they were trying to kill us? Such was the class of music being played and the punters who were dancing their hearts out. It does say music played by dancers for dancers and that is not a lie . The djs were dancing behind the decks and interacting with the crowd. Im finding it hard to explain just how good a nighter this is. You had to be there ? If you were you will know what im on about. If you missed it take some good advice . Get along to the next one. Forgot to mention the floor . Second to none . Perfect for dancing on and as smooth as a baby backside realy amazing. I said it was a good allnighter ? I got that wrong ? Its far better than a good allnighter ? Great , perfect , magic , i dont know a word to sum it up. Go along and judge for yourself . Then you will make this a regular on your northern soul callender. I want to thank every dj who played on the night yous were all fantastic and a special thankyou to liz and peter you two know how to put on an event . Thank you.STEBO

Good Morning Everyone

First visit to this event on Sat  .We didnt stay for the duration but had a really classy 4-5 hours .We traveled over from Leeds and found the venue right next to D W   a unusual venue .very new, clean toilets and at times it didnt feel like a nighter for that reason !

Playlists would be great lads as an all nighter regular who doesnt buy records !   Some great underplayed oldies some frantic rnb which got everyone on there toes and a few classic tunes ,but for me the highlight of this event was the people who were running it .They were as excited as i was ,ran by soul people for soul people , no egos ,and the coach load down from Edinburgh were great company .
10-11 Nik Hughes-playlist please -  all these guys played some fantastic sounds i have not heard played out for years, such a fresh approach
11-12 Daz Fynan-playlist please -
12-1   Jez Jones-playlist please
1-2     Ged Parker-playlist please

i have only ommitted the other guys as i didnt hear the sets !

Thanks for the trouble guys it is appreciated and people need to understand that promoters dont really do it for the money they do it because they love it like the dancers .Its in your soul !!
