Soul At The Pie Hall Denby Dale

Well, who'd have thought it?? Another packer down at the Pie Hall.

Andy Wagner called over to see us from Manchester and started the evening off with some quality tunes that you'd expect to hear much later. The Pie Hall filled up very quickly and by 8.30 there wasn't too much room left (although we can always comfortably fit a few more in). Having said that, one chap arrived at 11 as he'd got lost with his satnav - thanks for persevering! It was also a big birthday weekend and seven growlers were handed out with their respective candles alight!! Special thanks to our guest Karen Dodd Megeary (Betty Bump), second time on stage for us now and she doesn't disappoint. In fact, she played some outstanding tracks and, as the Pie Hall expects, something a little bit different too! Thanks Karen. Thanks to everyone who was there last night and kept the dance-floor full - it looked fantastic from behind the decks and myself Brian and Derek really appreciate it. There's plenty of photo's from last night by Marc Wilby so make him a friend on FB and view them. I'll try and transfer some over to this page if I can.
