GUEST DJ THIS MONTH - DEREK `OLD GUYS RULE' WHATMOUGH

Vance, Linda, Andy and Big Shed as usual be filling the resident spots at this cracking little venue.

As always we're on from 8pm until 2am ( bar open until 1am) and entry is just £4 on the door. No entry after 11pm.

Good dance floor, very cheap bar (Sam Smiths) and great company.

The Carlton Club is on Bury Old Road on the main route from Manchester to Prestwich, (135 Bus Service) and just 5 minutes walk from Heaton Park Metrolink Station

Great night, allowed to play two different spots, enjoyed !! always a pleasure to DJ for Vance, Linda, Andy and big Shed. Thanks to the punters for dancing and the listeners too. Looking forward to NYE....Have a good Christmas everyone from myself and Janet

Great night as usual. Derek played 2 fab sets. he's going do set on New Years Eve. Despite Jones and Carl and Maria Whittingham too. tickets have all SOLD OUT. no entry without. Merry Christmas to you all.

What can  say that I haven't said before, another fabulous night covering every aspect of this great  music  scene, each dj playing a cross section of classic, modern/crossover to r"n"b and everything in between. Plenty of people in with some new faces so whether they were going on to the all nighter in Bury or trying the Carlton for the first time the promoters Vance ,Andy Linda and Big Shed are reaping the rewards for their hard work in putting on a great night of SOUL music with a growing band of regular attendees. Special mention for Mr Whatmough ,the "old guy" ruled last night playing two marvellous sets particularly the second one with some nice slowies near the end.

   Altogether a great night , cheap beer ,top tunes, friendly atmosphere ,get yourself down in the New Year, you won't be disappointed.
