About The Event

A 'one off' unique reunion to celebrate the legendary venue. Held at the Soul Shack in Alfreton from 6.00pm - 2.00am. Eight hours of pure memories played on ovo by the original DJs John Vincent & Frank. Admission by ticket £6.00 available from JV through PayPal/post or in person from either Terry Westhead and Martin Smith.

Massive thank you to all who attended.  It was a joy to watch old friends being brought together to reminisce, laugh, cry and generally have a fabulous time listening to the music of our youth.   Big thanks to Martin Smith who went out on such a high, Pete Davies, banging set that had the room buzzing and of course the old guard ie Jonathan Woodliffe and John Vincent.  Wasn't Queens Road but by god its as close as you're gonna get.  Loved hearing the music, loved seeing the faces and loved the stories.  Shall we do it again sometime ? Perhaps !
