Another brilliant afternoon of the finest soul music. I try to get here most Sundays but today was a must, my 67th birthday, i remember my first visit to Whitworth St. in 1965, pressganged by Robbo into going there instead of Top of the Town, changed my life forever. Couple of years later, doesn't seem that long ago, I was sneaking my girl friend ( now my wife ) out of her bedroom window ( bungalow ) around midnight, driving down to the all-nighter and having to get her home before parents missed her, great times and great memories. Thanks to Robbo and anybody else whose put up with me all these  years and thanks to Pete for playing a couple of my favourites. See you next time, Graham. ps nice to bump into  a few people from The Blue Note, KTF.

Bank Holiday Weekend the Manchester Run the Tragic events of last Monday expected a low turnout!! Wrong Again!!

A fantastic crowd who enjoyed a great afternoon of 60's soul Northern Motown R&B and a bit of Ska thrown in, Pete John Jock and Guest DJ Phil Stone kept the place bouncing, once again plenty of new faces who really enjoyed the unique atmosphere of The Wheel if you have not been yet give it a try I am sure you will have a memorable afternoon.

A minutes silence at 6.00pm in memory of those who lost their lives in the Terrorist Attack at the Manchester Arena was impeccably observed by everyone.

Next up 11th June Guest DJ Ozz.

Thanks guys for another brilliant afternoon see you in fortnight.
