What a fantastic night the music was a brilliant mix thanks to guest DJ's John and Pete together with residents Wayne Vance and Linda thanks for putting on such a memorable evening and letting us Present the Cheque to Julie Verne of Broughton House, £2750 going to very worthy charity well done everyone the DJ's and all who helps and attends the event, special thanks to Graham for organising the event and Pat Sue Kev Phil Steve for efforts on the day.

Looking forward to the next Saturday Night at The Carlton Club.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who came to the Carlton Club last night. I was expecting it to be busy but not that busy. Sorry if we could not everyone seated, something I need to sort out for next month.
We had great guest DJ's in Pete Everett and John Birchenough. Up next month is Gibby Gibby followed in June by Altrincham Soul Club fine duo of Michael Taylor and Nick McKinnon. A treat for us all in store.
Once again thanks to all who contributed to Soul4heroes - £2750 is a great amount which Broughton House will put to good use. So hats off to Graham John Anderson for his initiative  Steve Hay Neil Horsman Bernard Heap John Mitchell Wayne Butterworth Dennis Black Debbie Carty Carl Willingham and all the other DJ's who contributed and Alan Derby et al for their input.

A special mention to Phil Stones for making sure old Sid got to the tram stop to get back to Walkden last night.
