Still in shock!!!!. What can we say? What a superb night, cant believe how well supported it was. Thanks for the poem Bill and the comments Alan. The teething problems will hopefully be sorted for NYE. That night is altready sold out. Thanks to the DJs for their superb sets.

The next bi-monthly do is on the 10th February 2018.

The dark days have faded to memory,

I still shiver recalling the night,

Des played the last record at Rammy

and switched off the kitchen light

he's roamed with his box of treasures

all over soul wonderland

from Darwen to deepest Yorkshire

with gorgeous Bev, by his right hand

 the Phoenix has risen majestic

the faithful responded in kind

as they danced away the night

a better dancefloor you'll struggle to find

Pete Eccles had the floor rocking,

Andy Childs played a wonderful one 

even Ginger managed a smile

you'd never guess City had won

Diamond Des worked the room like a good un'

flashing a twenty four carat smile

he shook every hand in the  Civic

back home in Rammy, out of exile

the atmosphere was electric

on the dancefloor barely a space

the dynamic duo had their reward

a smile on every face

Dare I say it I think it was better

far better than the Rammy of old

out of the ashes from a year ago

Des and Bev have mined pure gold

while down the road nursing cold pints of bitter

listening to the quiet in the empty main room 

grumpy committee men hear Rammy Soul

taking off with a sonic boom!!!!!!!!!
