Sunday Joint The Jacaranda

The Sunday Joint happens in an authentic basement bar set in a legendary Liverpool club, The Jacaranda. It opened in 1958 originally as a Jazz club evolving thru the 60s embracing Mersey Beat, Mod, Soul, R'n'B and Jamaican music and culture. The Sunday Joint is a bi-monthly event for those who like to listen and dance to amazing music in a cool and friendly place. It's hosted by resident DJ Phil Laing with special guest DJs selecting from their precious vinyl collections. Regular guests are David Melling and David Callister. For this event we have very special guests Richard Free and Michael Hawkins and our usual local lad David Callister
