Our June soul night with guest Dj Sean Chapman joining Bill Bishop and Len Cook plus another guest to start the night playing soul on the rare and underplayed side in a gorgeous club selling prize winning real ales.The Bose sound system is superb reaching into the chill out bar lounge .

Record sellers welcome .You will find us in the top right hand corner of the Coop car park in Codsall and lots of free parking .

Entrance just £5 On the door .

Went to the Firs Soul Club a few months ago and the opportunity arose again, so off we set.... 

The club is very pleasant and welcoming with a nice chilled out friendly feel to it.

The music is of the rare and underplayed variety but highly listenable and a lot of it highly danceable. The numbers were quite a bit down on our last visit... Apparently there is something afoot but I have no interest in childishness, I just go out for a good night. 

All the DJ's played great sets, with special mention to Sean Chapman and Len Cook. You will not hear anything from the top 500 but you will hear stuff that will make you realise what you've been missing.

A nice touch is complimentary cake and samosas which has in no way influenced my review....lol.

We will definitely go again at some point, you should too...
