Mojo Soul Club

Cant wait to do me bit for the Mojo discerning soul crowd tomorrow. As Morcambe and Wise said know the notes but not necessarily in the right order lol

Last time I was able to sneak in me Nancy Butts a gorgeous slower one, well it was 8, they dont get going to 9, well not here lol Pow like racehorses, they coundnt do their shoelaces up quick enough....so tomorrow who knows that is the nutty eccentric scene we are in.

Will try and start with the Rockmasters Raining Teardrops behind my smile ive shed a few in the 11 months, but glad to say with the help of many family/soul friends,, the music, the opportunity to DJ, them terrifying black clouds, have run back to hell, so yep back, happier than ever xxx may even start with a in ya face proppa lol x

Like most of us soul retreads, I enjoyed the nostalgia at first. Not realising it didnt end when i did lol The bloody thing is real, not temporary, a hard thing to accept, if ya had ya time then and it was the very best for you.

The amount of quality events, with records that blow my mind, its real, the good ol days are here and now, of course one foot, with the upmost respect in the past, but dont let that get in your way lol The ever evolving northern soul scene, call it what ya like, but what a way to enjoy a night out.

The DJ line up, All top national DJs o eck lol, Sam Evans got me back in the scene, when i invited myself and Sue to her 40th lol at an unrelated business conference. Jamie Trundle, saw something in me that I didnt see, and set me loose on the Sunny Hunny crowd and the other DJs who clear up after me. A class act, who could have made this up, its surreal and exciting. xxx

John Stackhouse only just met, top DJ, a man with a big heart, passion for promoting and giving young boppeers like me a go with the top DJs, what is there not to like about the great man lol Havnt met Ivan Bridgett yet, but already know Johns standards, so it speaks for itself. Of course the Midlands world renowned for its soul pedigree.
