In the end I was intrigued to hear the two guest DJ's (both from Whitchurch) so I did plump for this one. Nice place - good dancefloor, reasonable drinks and fairly packed tonight. There also seemed to be lots of big name DJ's record trading too. Wolfies means rare and underplayed and, as ever, they did exactly that - residents Nat Nicholls played a good selection, nice bit of R&B from Ken Onions. The two guests also played an interesting range, not much familiar to me but that's just the point. Personally I just preferred Errol Green mainly because he was pulling some 100mph tunes out of the box right at the end of the night. The couple next to me (who travelled from Wigan) were more than happy with it and said it was well worth the 154 mile round trip to hear some of this stuff; so there you go! Drew the room and one DJ, both turned out pretty well. I rarely give 5 stars - I've noticed most reviews are by the promoters of the events who inevitably give 5 stars to everything. I am trying to be objective. Response from the promoter: Wow thankyou so much for a wonderful review of what seemed to be an enjoyable night for you.... I really appreciate your honesty and love how you capture the night within your drawings... Hope to see you again soon Nat x 2 Link to review
