Frankie M 96 Posted June 11, 2019 (edited) looking forward to Les Hare gracing the decks in July , Les is owner of one of the last few independent record shops and a legend on the scene in the north west ,so expect some big tunes from his collection and with the cellar crew playing a mix of Northern /club / 70s / new breed R&B then there is something for everyone .The Greatstone soul cellar is an iconic soul venue with history going back to the early 70s , we have tried ( and hopefully succeeded ) to create the quality of tunage that has always been the mark of the place . why not give us a visit ?, you will be more than welcome . Frankie M 96 Posted June 25, 2019 The theme is support your local soul club and whilst we are seeing some nights in the area close down , we aim to keep on keeping on , so if you have a free Saturday on 6th July you may want to come down the cellar steps to our night where a complete mix of soul tunes are played all on Vinyl 45s and mostly on OVO ( but hey if it feels good play it ! ) we always have a great guest line up and yes where else would you get a midnight snack as part of the entrance fee !
