Timillustrator 693 October 13, 2019 · Edited October 14, 2019 by Timillustrator Share this review With stiff competition from Kidderminster Harriers (quarterly), Hinckley (monthly) and Stafford (monthly) Stables has apparently been a little under attended in recent months although it's been on the first Saturday of the month for years. Tonight was, however, an exception. Packed from the start it was good to see so many had come from the West and East Midlands as well as further up north to show their support. A lot of local faces and some really top dancers there too. Full dancefloor throughout, some nice underplayed things like Ernie Bush - Breakaway and The Belles - Don't Pretend. Decent drinks prices, hot food van, nice crowd, merchandisers. Really good night, same free in next month, so do yourself a favour and give it a go. Drew the crowd, a DJ and a dancer. I rarely give 5 stars - I've noticed that often reviews are by people connected with the event who inevitably give 5 stars to everything. I am trying to be objective. Link to review
