About The Event

We're delighted to announce the return of Byron Northern Soul Club!

After almost 2 years our fantastic venue will be buzzing with the sound of top drawer Northern Soul. You'll be guaranteed a warm welcome and a night of dancing and listening to just the greatest Northern sounds, all on original vinyl.

We are joined by DAVE EYLEY, a collector DJ from the North East who will be treating us to the cream of his eye watering collection, along with Nottingham's own legend, ROB SMITH who needs no introduction! Resident DJs Simon Richard, Nev Shooter and Stu Teece will be holding the fort and keeping things flowing.

We're just a few minutes from J27 of the M1, with a large car park. Come and join us and our many Byron regulars for a night to remember - we'd love to see you.

Byron Northern Soul Club ..Great first night back last night..Started with a fantastic warm welcome from the lovely Alison Shelford on the door..The night went from strength to strength with a full room bouncing along nicely creating a top vibe all night...Some fantastic Soul people were there and Dancers and DJs kept me busy talking records upon records lol.The Guest DJs played some incredible records..But what makes this place work for me are the 3 residents.
Nev Shooter.  Simon Richard ,and Stu Teece Special guys with great records and knowlege,,very friendly and approachable..I could listen to their stuff all day and night
Well done guys and Girls  Your BACK.

Couldn't agree more with Patto.

Trip back from Devon meant I only seen the last 3 djs - Dave, wow what records this guy has. Nev finished the night with many monster sounds.

For me the big surprise was Rob Smith, Ive known Rob for about three hundred years and seen him dj a thousand times. At the Byron he totally shocked me with the amount of top quality tune he played - track after track of sheer quality. Think ill have to book him for the Boat soon.

Well done guy's - Roll on next time  - Regards Mick
