Soul Night At The Athletic Club Mexborough

Two of the original DJs who started the soul night at the Athletic club some 20 years a go are resurrecting the event on a monthly basis with guest DJs as before. Playing the best in Northern soul with an across the board music policy.

What’s happened to Andy Blood and the team?

I have no idea sir, I’m not the kind of chap to step on any ones toes as I have total respect for my soul colleagues. I approached the trustees at the club in the first lock down and was given the go ahead by them.The trustees told me no one was doing the soul nights anymore and the last promoter did not pull many in the club.  I hope this clarifies things mate and it would be good to see you at our next event on the 11th September.
