About The Event

A rare chance to get Guy Hennigan at Greenhill playing some rare vinyl from his collection!

Come and see him in person instead of listening to the Guy and Tony radio stream, or digging out your C90 cassettes from the Stafford years.

Guy: In a nutshell, an unbelievably brilliant northern soul and occasional funk DJ, with an unimpeachable knowledge and involvement in-and-of the northern soul scene, it’s clubs and it’s records. He’s also incredibly handsome, a fantastic dancer, a stylist, original suedehead and on occasion somewhat prone to exaggeration! Oh, he also supports and sometimes follows the greatest football club on the planet – Leeds United!

We also welcome Alan Massey to Greenhill along with our residents Roman, Dave Comer, Richard Lodge, Wendy & Jill.

Walking distance from Burnley Manchester Rd Rail Station, Nearby Hotels and main bus route from Manchester. Car parking at the club.

Small sprung dance floor and refurbished club with draught ales, lagers, gin bar all at reasonable prices.

Haffners pies sold behind the bar!

Yes it's a real pleasure to welcome Guy to Burnley and a Lost Souls session, it's over 20 years since I was on the same bill with him as he drew a massive crowd to the black Horse in Skipton back in the 9ts. No idea what to expect but for sure hes got a free reign to spin records and stories of his choice.  Welcome Guy. I understand the last broadcast under its current home by Tony and Guy is in December 28th, worth a listen. Roman.

Burnleys Dave Comer steps in on this one, a great local collector his roots are in the old Burnley Miners club.
