About The Event

Rare Soul, Northern Soul, Mod, Ska, R&B.  A broad mixture of original  vinyl played on this event .Hosted by Dave Melling & Ed Brooks.

Guest DJ's for the Sunday 2nd April 2023 are Jimmy Houghton and Norman Killon.

Event is held monthly at Sefton cricket club.. There is on site free parking and is located in the most picturesque grounds in the city. The club house has 2 bars and the function room.There is a  good size dance floor with  plenty of seating with tables. Bar has varied selection of drinks including cask beers Shipyard, Love Lane, and premium lager San Miguel.

You may bring your own food or order food in.

Location is 50 yards from 74/75/76/77/80/80A bus routes between Aigburth Vale and Bootle. Alight at Ullet Walk towards the Smithdown Road and Ullet Road. Its also 300 yards from 86/86A bus routes between the City Centre and Garston South Parkway Station. Alight at the junction of Smithdown Road and Ullet Walk.   Taxi from City Centre £10-£12.

What a gem of an event this is. A very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, at an easy to find club, only a few miles off the motorway.

The music is absolutely first rate, stuff you just don't hear played out but very danceable. Every DJ put together excellent sets. 

A very good crowd for a Sunday afternoon. The dance floor is a little unforgiving until a little talc gets to work. 

Well worth the 2 hour journey from Coventry and as soon as time allows, will definitely return.
