me and my mate used to run a little soul nights in a arse-end of the world mining town called atherstone in the 1980s, playing our pressings and trying to pull the local birds, which wasn't all that hard to be honest even if you were as ugly as us. we found that if you judged it right timewise (ie about 5-to-11 with about 30 cider and blacks inside them) this record was a great aid in that department

That's nothing mate - me mate Gavin used to DJ at a "Swingers" night in Brighton.

On went the soul and off came the clothes - or at least that was the theory. I heard that the Manager / organiser got peed off because Gavin did such a good set that they were all dancing, when they should have been bunking off in pairs / threes etc. for unspeakable debauchery
