I'd just like to publicly thank SHS Dave, he saw a record on my wants list and refused to accept payment for it as he'd had it for years and never played it - so he literally gave it to me. Now I do this frequently but I've not met many other people who are as daft/generous so cheers for that Dave and I will look after it.

I hope the person who outbid me on a copy on ebay the other day is happy with their purchase

Someone also sent me a HMV demo of the West Five a couple of months back and I lost the details of who it was so I'd like to thank that person too.

Now that is something we have in common, every now and again, I have the urge to just see somebody smile when you give them a tune but you are right, there are not too many people like it!
