OK. Her Northern tune was from the time of the photo - around 1967/8.

Her big hit was in 1978. I know I've said she was a solo artist but I also said there was a connection with a band. that applies to the hit and it's a strong connection.

She changed her name to Samantha Sang and had a massive fit with "Emotions" which was written by the Brothers Gibb and had those Bee Gee fellows in backing vocals.
