May 3, 201015 yr A lot of the Motown albums inner sleeves had promotions on them selling merchandice and such , but I wouldnt have thought there was a market for this stuff its hardly rare . What a strange world a fool and his money
May 5, 201015 yr A lot of the Motown albums inner sleeves had promotions on them selling merchandice and such , but I wouldnt have thought there was a market for this stuff its hardly rare . What a strange world a fool and his money I'm sure I heard of a major dealer taking all of his stock out of company sleeves putting the record in plain sleeves & then selling the sleeves seperately ??
May 5, 201015 yr I'm sure I heard of a major dealer taking all of his stock out of company sleeves putting the record in plain sleeves & then selling the sleeves seperately ?? I can see why a dealer will take a original sleeve off a non-value 45/Lp to match up with a valueable 45/Lp or sell it seperately. It's a growing market, seems soul collectors now following on what pop (Rock/R&R/Beatles/Stones etc) collectors have been doing for ages, adds value to your 45/Lp if it has the original sleeve/inner. It's one of the first thing a Beatles collector will check with an LP.

I'm not talking of taking a sleeve off a perry como single & using it, but taking it off of reasonably high priced northern & selling seperately....allegedley. Taking the piss in my opinion
