Hello all!

ROTATIONS "A CHANGED MAN" anyone know what was written in deadwax?

Found a copy for 4 in a antiqueshop and something about "vitues Studio" and a number was scratch in Deadwax.

I' m sure it is the lookalike reissue.

Anyone has the deadwax number of the original?

Thanks

M*

"VIRTUE" scratched in and F-TRO-3 scratched in on "A changed man" side

Other side same except F-TRO-2 and LW.

Info taken from white promo so definite original

45 is vinyl. Boot may have been styrene. Can't remember now.

I think the styrene copies are legal jamie guyden reissues from the 80s, like the Arctic reissues. The difference is very clear, it's styrene and the font / print is different.

Hi Bob

It was booted in the 70's around the time it was popular in the UK.

thanks for adding / clarifying, sorry rod and dave and everyone for incomplete / inaccurate info

Why are apologising, you are correct Frank Lipius at Jamie Guyden repressed it in styrene, they were done in the late 70s. 2nd press Not bootlegs

No Bob it should be me that is apologising, I shouldn't have used the word 'Booted'

Cheers

Done right at the end of 1976 if I remember correctly. Great track.

Surprised that "Drop A Dime on D9" was never reissued but then again, I never heard it played at any venue, ever, despite it being in Dave McCadden's unnoficial Wigan top 50 in January 77.

I'm sure Ted Massey has played this out a few different spots, but realise that's more recently.

As everybody is apologising it was I who used "boot" first.

I see it's a legal re-issue so sorry about that.

Murano has either got a nice £150-200 original or a piece of tat he might get £5 for if he's lucky.

The suspense is killing me.

The second issue (I always thought it was a boot) has black text on yellow label. That's presuming there's only one run.
