I have always thought that the song Soul Searcher was sung by a whisky drinker or a smoker with Eddy Hughes having such a rich deep voice but I now know he was a 13 year old.

Don Hysong has supped a few too many whiskeys when recording this record...he's terrible. He's also the label owner as well isn't he? He doesn't look 13 on the picture sleeve eithber although he does look young. So I presume you are talking about Eddie Huighes? If so I wouldn't have believed it either.

Eddy Hughes 13 years old ? never..the picture on the back of his fan club member ship card shows a young man in his mid-late twenties.

I think this was taken when he was touring and singing Soul Searcher, Eddy was signed to D-Town for a short time before he went to Bard.

Eddy's real name is Al Hughes he still produces and sings to this day, I have just been to his website and listened to some of his new stuff that I think is great, a little like Oscar Perry. Here is the link also a great bit of back ground history from the man himself.
