Well he does say it's a reissue and to be fair his starting price was 99p !

its not the sellers fault, surely folks out there with more money than sense, seems to be a trend for ridiculous prices on re issues/boots en ebay these days,,

I had one of these and it auctioned for about £12 if I remember right just a few months ago. That was what I expected. I think a real one (either label) should be about £250 or so. Anyone got any advance on that? Interestingly, I've only seen one for sale recently, and the asking price was £400, which I reckon is a wee bit high. In any case, you can't blame the seller, unless you want to ask why fixed list prices keep going up and up when there is apparently not that much spare cash knocking around these days.

Well he's lying for a start or he doesn't know the difference. Reissues and boots aren't the same thing.

He's been as honest as eBay will let him - if you put bootleg in your ad, they will remove it - hence "2nd issues" etc...

........"these reissues are getting thin now - not many around."

Well they've always been thin, and most are usually round :D

the winner has made 1225 transactions!!! Undoubtedly he is stamp collector from bay, this is the first record he bought

It may say Home of the Blues on the label and have ripped of the original label design but the seller knows it's not a "Home of the Blues reissue".

How much is a real one worth, hotb or abc then or now?

Sony are doing a new digital hearingaid, its very small but the quality of the sound is amazing. NB

lol - Ain't it funny? - Some of the tunes I absolutely love ('Lenny Lullabies') some people absolutely hate! The difference in people's tastes has always amazed me, I find it quite interesting as I just can't imagine anyone not liking stuff that I do and that goes the other way of course. I do like the 'banter' / p*ss taking as long as it's done with wit and not offensively. No one should take offence if someone's taste is different; I have seen that happen though which is a shame.

Oops, completely 'off topic' now - Apologies.

Right, I'll take your advise mate - Off I go to Sony :D

All the best,

Len.
