March 4, 201213 yr Been told this is a boot,or was it booted?I know it also came out on Volt so just wondering what label to get this on. Clock is ticking ... AS far as I know Ovide is the first issue. https://www.soulfulkindamusic.net/ovide.htm
March 4, 201213 yr and probably twice the price of a volt copy altho years ago there was not a lot in it..never booted as far as i know and i think its only on the volt issue
March 5, 201213 yr and Wayne it is TORONADOES !!! I have seen them credited as TORONADOS (same spelling as the car) but are they credited anywhere as Tornado(e)s?
March 5, 201213 yr Mike, as far as I'm aware it's Toronados named after their favourite car the Oldsmobile Toronado. Searching google images for TSU OVIDE provides plenty of scans and it seems to be OS or OES with near equal measure. This Volt issue has Tornadoes which I believe is simply an easy to make mis-spelling https://www.soultreats.se/#post274 Edited March 5, 201213 yr by Dave Turner
March 5, 201213 yr Correct about the car - full explanation here as to how they got their name: https://www.mixcloud.com/steve-guarnori/tsu-toronados-cal-thomas-interview-2002/ And Wayne a legit 45 my man.

March 6, 201213 yr Steve, great stuff. Enjoying it Cheers Dave, think the most revealing non TSU T's story was the Jackie Wilson story Cal told - being arrested for picking up a white girl..... Edited March 6, 201213 yr by Steve G

Here's a couple on Popsike: https://www.popsike.c...tord=&x=20&y=11 However I've bid on a few copies on E-bay, and 50 quid hasn't been enough. There's a great compilation available on CD and MP3 download at: https://www.amazon.co...OMU/ref=mb_oe_o Mick Edited March 6, 201213 yr by Mick Sway

Tracks include "A thousand wonders", "What good am I" and "I still love you". The label is Ovide, but don't know if this is a reissue (never seen an original if it is) or a compilation. I picked mine up in one of those second hand records stores on Berwick Street a couple of years ago for £12, so not rare but nice to have for the tunes.
March 6, 201213 yr One on here, https://www.rarenorthernsoul.com/Rare-70s-80s/page8/11640/i-still-love-you/#product

Steve,i can never have enough of your records lol . Hope your well fella?Big thx for all your replies, good news is someone has sorted me a Volt copy.P.s How do you put up smiling faces?
March 7, 201213 yr The volt issue pops up a lot more than Ovide. I got an excellent price on my Ovide issue which funded something nice (didnt see the point in keeping both)!! Cheaper Volt issue still in my box, but that's staying..........unless i source an Ovide issue at a good price and then they'll switch places again
