I hope this is ok- I searched through several pages . I am really only familiar by the weekly sales posting here. Could anyone share their experience? And would I assume if you had 1 or 2 decent 45's, you probably would not be in the auction. If any members would prefer anonymity, feel free to pm me thanks again-mark

:hatsoff2: HI ALL.......Not quite sure what you mean as your question is followed by your answer? however if you want to know if it's ok! to buy from, well 100% all items are packed and dispatched very fast, many bargains on the drop down auction and in his stock, main auction all depends on how much you want something, as it's very rare that any thing slips through these days, mind you i am no big fan of auctions  DAVE

I sold a couple of modern things I bought to sell on. The whole process can take a couple of months. But you know you will have no problem selling, and getting the money once the buyer has paid.

Apart from the first time I sold with him, and the site crashed with 3 minutes to go or something, and wasnt up again until the next day. Which was a bit gaulling as many people hold off until the last minute.

That has all been sorted now, and as far as I know it was a one off.

Think he's increased his commission to 20%

John has auctioned quite a lot of my rarer records over the years and I have never had a problem of any kind.

Yes, have auction a few. You need to be preapred to wait around 2 months, as mentioned, to get paid, very slow, I mean slow to get paid, otherwise ok.

John has auctioned a handfull of 45s for me and i've always been pleased with the service.

where possibly I try to sell my own items as it helps to build up a better network of collectors to do future deals with both buying and selling.

Have sold a few via Johns auctions and always pleased with the service and the price obtained.

It seems to me John has the contacts/subscribers to reach a wide audience. Mind you have only sold Northern stuff via the auction.
