A few left over from my weekend sales and some additional bits and pieces of all sorts. Please note, the clips are not the actual 45s I am selling. Paypal (gift) preferred, but flexible. Please add £2 for UK recorded delivery. Thanks for looking.

Steve Colt — "Dynamite"Â (Big Beat) Ex £30

(great big heavy James Brown style funk sound — popular with the funksters out there, so I gather!)

Chris Bartley — "Truer Words Were Never Spoken"Â / "This Feeling You Give Me"Â (Vando) VG++ £15

(Van McCoy Northern magic on both sides)

Gloria Taylor — "Total Disaster"Â (Mercury WD) Ex £25

(superb Detroit production with nice funky overtones — very atmospheric dancer)

SOLD

Sonny Stiles & His Kings Men — "Give A Little Bit"Â (Joy WD) Ex £25

(fabulous atmospheric mid-tempo)

Queenie Lyons — "Drown In My Own Tears"Â (Deluxe demo) VG++ £20

(evergreen stomper — brilliant)

The Scott Bros — "We Like Girls"Â / "Magic Wand"Â (Zachron) Ex £25

(full on brilliant Northern both sides — just listen to Mark Freeman enthusing on the clip!)

SOLD

Freddie Scott — "(You) Got What I Need"Â (Shout) Ex £15

(great crossover)

SOLD

James Carr — "Coming Back To Me Baby"Â (Goldwax - blue) VG++ £10

(stomping dancer — that so-called "Ëœclub' sound which is more and more popular)

Ivory Joe Hunter — "Every Little Bit Helped Me"Â (Goldwax — blue) VG++ £15

(ditto! Great oldie)

Stu Gardner — "Expressin' My Love"Â (Chisa — red label) Ex £15

(popular funky, mid-tempo, soulful dancer — superb)

The Famous Chromes — "Teach Me"Â (Drive) VG++ £20

(great up tempo dancer - absolute giveaway)

Five Keys — "Hey Girl"Â (Inferno) Ex £15

(nice male group mid-tempo — bags of potential in this record)

The Fabulous Apollos — "Some Good In Everything Bad"Â (Valtone) VG- £20

(classic, brilliant Detroit — admittedly, this copy is not the best! There are some crackles going on, but it sounds OK loud at home or played out, which I have used it for. Labels are a bit grubby, but intact. Condition reflected in bargain price and will always refund — and have done — anybody for anything you're not happy with)

SOLD

Anita Humes & The Essex — "What Did I Do?"Â (Roulette) VG £15

(what a classic floorfiller — again, not the best nick, but perfectly playable — I have DJed with it; label has a tear just above the title on the left hand-side; condition reflected in bargain price, but usual satisfaction deal)

SOLD

Tony Talent — "Gotta Tell Somebody"Â (Vando WDJ) VG £20

(ditto! Perfectly playable if you're prepared to put up with some relatively minor crackles — labels have a bit of ringwear, not as shiney as they once were, but are pretty good overall, about the same as in the YouTube clip actually — same deal as the last two)

Carol Woods — "If I Let You"Â (Ember — UK test pressing) VG+ £20

(bit of a curio this one — really nice crossover sound, always thought it had potential. This is a test pressing on a standard light blue UK Ember label with felt tip, handwritten titles)

SOLD
