I know there are 2 versions of this both by Gerri Hall.I`ve just listened to the one thats just been on soul source,the one without the girl backing.It seemed to me to be a fraction slower.Is it just my ears or can anybody enlighten me with some info.Me personally I prefer the version with the girly backing.Also are the issue numbers any different.

The girly backing version issue number is 905,with 174-1719 matrix no in the run out groove.

Both versions are stunners Col,just a bit more going on in the other version.Always gets me going whatever one is played.Perhaps some kind soul would put a sound clip up and you could listen to the difference.It would be nice to know if the matrix numbers were different with the 2 versions.Definately 2 different recordings.

I agree with Chalky on that. The only way to discover which copy you have in your hand is to actually play it.

Couldn't really say Andy, haven't seen any real difference with price betwen the two versions. Some probably not aware of difference when selling maybe

There must be some difference in the run-out groove details, they can not have pressed both versions with the same stamper.

there could well be Seb, but the label is the same, certain of that. We need someone with copy of each to post run out details.

Thats the first time i have heard that version think its the best, I think Mick Smith has the the other unless some lune has offered him a fortune for it

Heard the other version just some month ago( a friend showed me from that superb video that Pete S supplys or ?? ) as the orig wasn´t good enough there another one just as good

i know the version on Grapevine label is different it does not have girly backing.
