  • Bob, you've probably seen a few copies of this record? Seems to be for sale every few months. The record had plenty of looks and was listed in the right category and accurate description.

  • I'm genuinely surprised. I thought this was around £1000...maybe £1500 for the super tough WD. It used to be fairly available in the 90's at £500 and less...glued into collect

What a record definately in my Top 100. It's the sorta record that used to make me drive 100 miles in the driving rain and stop out after midnight in the vain hope of just hearing it. &#1

I came in third. There's no record to my ears that's worth $3000 (I'm assuming that the high bidder had some head room). I'm not sure I'd want to pay $2K for a record but I figured on taking a shot.

Sorry, I should have said every six months or so. Two times here, two times on ebay (this being the second) in the past 12-13 months. The previous one on ebay was sold on consignment by a guy in Portland who's a total malt shop grandpa. All he could say was how much he could not understand why anyone would want it

one of my favorite 45s i would still like to own.. theres only the one showing on popsike from last year that was cheaper than this one but theres been has been others.. its been up for sale over here a few times also including a couple or 3 white demo`s....there was a beat up acetate on ebay the other week. definately a £2000 to £2500 record but not £4/5000 imvho but then again i still want one.. that acetate was more in my league tho

conservative grading would have given it a G+ still a one of a kind thing of course and nice to have.

I agree, nice one off item, however, I struggle to justify/afford that kinda money for minters, let alone trashed unplayable ones....lol

It was interesting how this seller stressed in his auctions that he could not guarantee his records to be originals or boots.

that's not exactly what he said. this is what he said. I don't think he was trying to trick people, it sounds like he doesn't know and he didn't want to make a specific claim. he answered people's questions precisely too.

Reissues vs Originals: Unless I know for sure, I will not describe a record as a reissue or original. I will provide a clear closeup photo

of the label along with everything written in the vinyl trailoff. Hopefully, if crucial for you, you will be able to make your

own determination. Questions are always welcome.

Bang on Flynny, I bought mine for £300 early 90's punted it on for £1300 a few years back.... so not really a bargain at £1700, more of a fair deal , great double sider in spanking condition.

What a record definately in my Top 100.
