the bunch of 45s i won the other week arrived. of the eight, four had been graded vg- but were in a pretty bad state with the charles hodges and roscoe shelton the worst - plenty of scuffs and a few quite bad scratches. the hodges has cleaned up quite well, but the shelton is unplayable. i was tempted to send them back, but the hodges was cheap and doesn't sound too bad after the first 30 seconds, and the shelton was only $2.99 and it would cost me more than that to return it to the us. so ... here's the ballad side of the charles hodges, and it's a great song, which is even more reason to keep it.
