Probably late 60's Canadian woman cut in a Canadian studio (Toronto, Montreal, ?).

Back then, Canadian radio had to play loads (a high %) of Canadian made tracks by law; that policy stimulated local releases a lot.

She sounds white to me too.

It's a Quality test pressing 45, found it in a Toronto record store a couple of years ago.

Is there any clue to the date of the recording or a number of any kind? The title sounds pretty obvious, a year would narrow it down if it was released.

Sounds like maybe early 1970s (1972-74)? Maybe a local, Toronto production?

It's hard to peg. The songwriting/structure sounds '60s, but some of the instrumentation sounds early '70s.

There's something quite catchy about it.
