Red ones were packed into Richard Domar soulpacks along with loads of Onederful stuff late eighties.

I guess you can't get much better advice than from the guy who recorded the song.

From the digging around that Iv'e done on this one, always thought the blue to be first issue.

Also seen lots more reds for sale than blue, if that's any indication.

Whatever the answer is still a great underrated tune.

Blue ones look a bit dodgy to me like but there's now

For sure Martin

As far as how hard these records are to pick up I would order them (from easy to hard):

Red issue

Blue issue

Blue promo

White promo (styrene West Coast)

Are there any formats I've missed?

Jury's still out for me Lenny unless I saw something that proved it one way or the other.

Ive got a plain white label of the red issue with the detail written in on GGG....Dunno if it was an attempt to c/u or what.....bought it from Dave Alcocks records so i doubt it..........great 45 that suffers from being common so DJs were always reluctant to spin it.........

Lol! your probably right with that one Dave. Think I paid 8 quid for a red one that I let go a couple of years back.

Replaced it with a demo for £18.

With the quality of the record it sounds like it should be worth a lot more.

Martin

paid £2 for me totally under rated double sider imho....

Blue ones are boots? Wow,would have never thought it.I just accepted that red and blue were different plants,or maybe just a rush re-issue to meet local demand.

Blue ones tend to crop up less than the red.One of my fave club tunes.

ps,had a look an JM's.Rarer first release is blue according to website.............

If the blue ones are bootlegs, why is there a blue issue and a blue demo, and I think a blue one with a small star on (other one has large star)?

Richard

apparently if your copy is blue then it's the original, if your copy is red then it's the original & blue copies are bootlege :D

mine is red  a great cheap 45!
