Hi, this has no doubt been done before so usual apologies but.................

 

Has anyone any recommendations for any (fairly) comtemporary artists/albums?

 

Whos out there currently making decent soul music?

I knew this track but apparently the whole album is good - was posted up by Tony on the Soul Record of the day thread. Dusty Grooves have some.

Jill Scott

Erykah Badu

Eric Benet

Will Downing

Maysa

Angie Stone (last one (Rich Girl)  was great!)

Teena Marie (RIP - great posthomous CD - Beautiful)

 

I could go on & on (like Eykah :D )

A lot of shouting about the guy below, It took me a while but I love this track now, its definatly a move on from most R n B lyrically.
