Or am I just being cynical

I must have been very lucky as had no VAT, import duty or PO handling charges ever added? always paid what it cost + Postage. The postage is about right though

Over here in Germany there's a threshold value for any import taxes or VAT. 24 Euros I think. Problem is valuation includes shipping.

Yep there is over here too £15 but post office add £8 handling charge so if you pay £2  tax it costs £10 due post office rip off.

Got this through today and pleased to say it's better than described, and it didn't cost me any more than the record and postage cost
Seller a bit sparse with his comms though, in fact didn't answer 3 messages that I sent him, but all OK apart from that.
So £7 for a top tune on Demo
