Wasn't this an LP only track? I'm sure I had it on the "People" LP on UK Direction, but was it released as a single?

It certainly was around at the same time - 1969 - so no surprise if it's on the People album. It was a Columbia single too.

A really big record around 1973/4. Great to hear it again!

Really happy memories now of this 45. I took it with me to the Cleft Club and ended up singing it a cappella with Billy Jackson on the street corner. He still knew EVERY word! We then went through the Tymes "Northern" discography with the guys, Billy, Dave Fergie and I all singing a cappella. One of the highlights of my collecting life. All on tape too!

Great record. Real "Fanfare" intro and then they just sweep you up amongst it all.
