Can anyone help me identify the track that goes something like:

"I said, I,I,I.I,I,I,I, I really love you,

I,I,I,I,I,I,I really care.."

60s male vocal stomper, slightly jerky rhythm.

As the song develops, singer crams even more "I"s in. Looks bad written down, but great record.

This is really odd; in the whole of the Devotions track there's not one 'I', yes there's an 'I'll' so does your copy skip at that point? Broken record?

Sounds like "Your Wish Is My Command" by The Inspirations.

I think it's by The Embers. Jo Wallace would know - she put it on a tape for me 20 years ago.
