Rare and hard to find original 60's Northern Soul LP’s


Various Artists — Free Angela Davis — Golden Triangle M- £150

Rare original LP issued to help with black activist Angela Davis featuring Dickie Wonder “Nobody Knows” & Little Tyrone Tommy “Baby Cant You See” LP vinyl & cover is in M- nearly new condition a rare find some minor ring wear on front cover.




Tempest — Would you Believe Smash M- £150

Legendary LP full of great Northern tracks including LP only track “Someday”. Record and cover are in superb nick.



Shades Of Blue — Happiness Is The — Impact M- £125

Rare original Detroit LP featuring Northern Soul anthem “A Way to Love” say no more. Record and cover in stunning M- condition just a small x on back cover.



The Heartstoppers — Heartstoppers — All Platinum M- £100

Rare original US first press of this fantastic album packed with awesome Northern Xover soul dancers and sweet soul ballads with many LP only tracks such has "Where Does The Love Go" and "More Of You".  Betty Baker is on lead vocals. Record is in great shape with nice cover which has some ring wear on front cover has with most copies.



The Poppies — Lullaby of Love — Epic WDJ M- £75

Dorothy Moore & the girls produce a fabulous 1966 LP full of great 60’s Northern tunes including “There’s A Pain In My Heart” & “He’s Got Real Love” plus LP only tracks “Spellbound” , “Don’t Throw Our Love Away” “Sure Is Worth It” “Wonderful World Of Love”  & “The Love Song”. Spotless WDJ promo copy in nearly new condition recently auctioned on JM’s site



Barbara Dane — I’m On My Way — Capitol — M- £25

Featuring popular title RnB track "I’m On My Way". Cover has top tape seam with wear to spine but still nice clean condition.



The Embers — Burn a New One — EEE Ex £45

Full of great tracks including the awesome “Aware of Love” & “Walk On By

etc. Record has couple of noticeable marks but plays great. Cover has top seam taped and some small writing.




Sam & Dave — Sam & Dave — Roulette Ex+ £20

Early Sam & Dave outing featuring — You Aint No Big Thing etc

One noticeable scratch across vinyl NAP



Chuck Jackson & Maxine Brown — Saying Something — UK Pye LP Ex+ £60

Two Northern soul legends together featuring LP only tracks with the superior version of Tina Brit’s “Real Thing” and the catchy R&B style dancer “We Find Him Guilty” plus some great deep soul ballads. Rarer UK copy in nice nick

Voice Incorporated — Roots — Columbia M- £60

Gospel group featuring early Melba Moore outing with the Monster Northern track "Thinkin’". The LP version is a little bit longer take than the 45 listen to the sound clip from the actual record for sale. Cover is in Nice Ex+ shape with small  initials written on the back cover.

Ketty Lester — Ketty Lester — Pete MINT unplayed in Shrink £40

Rare private press LP produce dand arranged by Lincoln Mayoraga  backing vocals by Gloria Jones and Shirley Mathews. Featuring fab upbeat thumping version of "How Sweet It Is" no 45s release of this track also good version of Joe Tex’s "Show Me".
