Obviously, we all know the Tommy Ridgely one, but my mate showed me this today.

Anyone get any information on it? Is it acetate only?

Originally unreleased and made available to us some 15 years ago on the Crazy Cajun / Edsel CD "The Soul Queen Of Texas".

 

No acetate that I'm aware of.

You would think whoever did these boots/mock up scans would actually put some effort into it and try and get some of the details right other than the artist and title.

Meant to say earlier but not had time, first heard this played out via Rob Thomas and/or Andy Rix.  Can't remember if they covered it up or what they played it off or the source. it's a terrible version too, she murders a great record

It was me ... I think it got it's debut at the first showing of SWONS ..was that Kings Hall at Blackburn ? ....... I can't recall the date exactly

 

I personally love her version ... And if you listen you can still hear Tommy's vocal in the background !

2002/2003 at a guess Andy? Her version never done it for me I'm afraid..

I cut an acetate from the CD as soon as i bought it as a new release, always got a great response when i used to play it out.
