Anyone got any info on this?   I've just heard it after seeing it on a playlist, and instantly loved it.

Was it unreleased until being included on a cd comp?

I'm sure  Rod Dealove used to play ' The harder you love', but do not recall what format it was on. Great track. Andy

Correct one of the great Groovesville acetates that Tim Ashibende found,

from memory Richard got that along with "the harder you love" (also by D.Banks)& the Jackie Beavers track "come back to me"

From the same haul I got

Darrel Banks "I'm the one who loves you" (slightly longer version)

Dramatics "You're love was strange" (diff take)

Willie Hatcher "Searching"

Unknown artist "You were meant for me"

Holidays "Easy Living"

I think Sam got "that's why I love you" (diff take)

I think Richard got " The Harder You Love " off Martin Koppel / Tim Brown ,and Sam got the alt version of The Professionals off Rob Marriott .Happy to be corrected if I have it wrong though

Is that the one with the longer instrumental break?

If you refer to the Professionals:

Can't recall if the break is longer but it's a different take with a different intro. Pretty weak in comparison to the released take (in my opinion). Unfortunately the alt take is the one used for all CD/LP reissues of it. Can't recall any legit compilation that featured the issued take.
