Different Label - Different Spelling

Guess He Means The First One

When I read "versions", I assume it's the recording that's different, not the label.

Are the two label release recordings the same or different?

What's the difference Dave?

Can't remember too much Den to be honest  I have the one on Gates which from (a poor) memory isn't really a Northern dancer whereas when I first heard the Musicor issue i thought wow this is so much better than the one I have & is a dancer.

Crikey, I thought the Musicor one was nowhere near being a dancer. God knows what that means for the Gates version?

The Gates one is more of a dancer, but in a Crossover style. Dave just means one is sixties and one early seventies.

Quite possibly Gareth re the Gates release as its at least 30years since I last listened to it. The Musicor release sounded a much better (yes 60s) dancer when I heard it out about 15 years ago but I was drinking  a fair amount at the time  :g:

Maybe I need to listen to them again

Right, I've now had a chance to listen to the Gates version, which for me, is horrible. (IMO)
I've listened to the Musicor version again and still think I made the right decision to sell it a short while ago. Better version than the Gates but still not one for me. (IMO)
