Hi

I've just acquired a copy in a collection purchase of

Sandpipers - I Really Love You - Giant

A nice Mike Terry arrangment

Any info on this 45 re: price - particularly, demand etc and who or who's playing it.

Thanks Darren

  • Thanks.  Now I know why I didn't buy it!  A Pop rather than Soul vocal.  Great track for a Soul Girl's group recording.  Mike Terry never arranged a lousy track, did he?

Prefer the other side myself 'Lonely too long' used to be a £300-£350 record at one time

although in recent years seems to have come down a bit to £100-£150 well the ones I've

seen anyway.

None of the recordings for the sales are still uploaded.  I can't find those songs on You-Tube.  Can anyone direct me to a soundfile of them.  I'm curious to hear them.  I passed that record up when it was out, as I was unable to listen to it, and thought it was instrumentals or Pop singing (despite being Pied Piper).  Thanks.

The recent Pied Piper production CD says there wasn't any solid info on the singers IDs.

Pied Piper or not, it is vocally terrible.  I can only imagine it got plays because of its rarity.
