I'm actually looking forward to a lot of the non-soul stuff too. PF Sloan for example. Roy head will be doing an R&B set and a rockabilly set later.

Ian from Ace Records stopped in the record company facility in Crowley, LA to obtain 45 rpm records to bring to the Ponderosa Stomp

The record company I work with, has been in business since 1946. We're still here, two generations later.

I noticed Ian selected some Soul Unlimited releases we still have, and some Perry Serrette 45 rpm releases on the Showtime label.

If you ever have the opportunity to attend the Stomp, it is highly recommended!

Warren Storm and Lynn August are also performing at the PS this season.
We still have some of their 45s too.

the shows were incredible, especially the second night, amazing.

Sorry I missed you Kris - agree about the second night - although Willie Hightower was a real highlight for me - and loved Augie Meyers!

Oh Willie Hightower was incredible, voice unaffected by time, total highlight.  Brenda Holloway probably needs to walk away though.......so disappointing.
