R&B / Blues 78's gauging interest

Hi,

my first post here, didn't see anywhere to introduce myself. Dont want to give a bad impression just jumping into the sales section ! I've lurked here for a while..

 

anyway,  I'm helping someone sell there Fathers collection of R&B and blues 78's. He came from Jamaica to the UK in the late 50's. He had a big soundsystem in Oxford from '58. The vast majority of the records were bought in the UK. I've seen a few of them and they seem to be in decent condition, VG+ and upwards. Most of them were saved from the wear and tear of Soundsystem use as he would cut 7" acetates from them. Though a lot of the record labels have Soundman damage (titles scratched out etc).

 

im just trying to gauge what kind of interest there might be in them. I should be getting a list together over the next few weeks. Or if any of you are based in London I can arrange viewings..
