5 Great Soul LPs To Go

Recommended Posts

Having little clear-out of LPs :) These are available, postage extra

Flyers - S/T LP EX,sleeve VG++ £25
West German(?) group released in Bulgaria, contains the immensely breezy modern soul dancer "Mainline Is Sunshine" and some other more disco-ish bits. Obscure!

Johnny Pate - Shaft In Africa (ABC) EX, sleeve VG++ dh £20
Blaxploitation soundtrack classic, including the awesome Four Tops tune "Are You Man Enough"

Rocky Roberts & The Airedales - Sabato Sera (Durium) VG, sleeve EX £15
Downgraded due to some larger cosmetic marks on one side not affecting playback, very strong playing copy of this not-so-common one. Italia soul including the Northern classic "Just Because Of You" and the lesser known funky dancer "Got A Thing Going"

Mandrill - Just Outside Of Town (Polydor) EX, sleeve VG+ £15
Classic latin-infused 70's modern dancer "Never Die" and a host of other goodies.

Tony Sherman - S/T (BASF) EX, sleeve VG (Seams split -poor glueing- and repaired with clear tape, otherwise solid) £12
Early 70's euro-soul album with tons of good sounds. "Sing With Me" is an awesome dancer getting spins, cool moody cover of "Slippin' Into Darkness", and the mellow crossover gem "I'll Be There". All on singles, but nice to have 'em all on one LP.
