Could somebody tell me if the You Can't Blame Me/Your Love Keeps Drawing Me Closer 45 was booted or re-issued in the mid 1970's please?

I doubt that it was, but I've recently noticed that my copy looks different to all the other copies I've seen. The label on my copy is missing the gold upper half on the YCBM side, although it is present on the YLKDMC side.

The audio quality is spot on, so it doesn't sound like a bootleg to me.

i would say just a printing error, pretty cool variation.

came out twice as far as I know pretty sure the blue and gold copies are a later release number

Off course not ! that isn't the case. Just a miss print where the gold ink is missing (two paper stuck together with the bottom one not getting it's gold layer), SOUL16 even states in it's first post that the flip side 'your love keeps drawing me closer' has it's golden layer !

You see white demos of their other release but iv never even seen an issue demo of this.
